Best Types of Concrete Floors to Polish

Nearly any concrete floor can be polished as long as it is structurally sound. Some floors cannot be polished. Industry expert, Bob Harris, explains a few of the exceptions including freshly placed concrete, which must cure prior to polishing. Another exception is existing floors that need extensive patching or that are too porous. And finally, badly spalled concrete surfaces that require removal of a topmost layer before grinding and polishing can be done.
